DonationsNew Island Hospital is a not-for-profit 501(c) (3) tax-exempt institution. Unlike for-profit corporations, any excess of revenues over expenses is used by the hospital to upgrade its equipment and facilities. Despite diligent and skilled management, expenses continue to outpace revenues requiring hospitals to fundraise to compensate for the resulting shortfall. Fundraising will permit New Island Hospital to keep abreast of the latest in medical technology and equipment. Philanthropic support helps us sustain our ability to serve and promote healthy lives and perpetuates the excellence the community deserves.The hospital provides many options for donors in order to meet their financial needs as well as charitable interests.
