New Assistant Vice President of Nursing


 

              
Anne Wilson-Rizk, R.N.  is Appointed Assistant Vice President of Nursing 

New Island Hospital has appointed Anne Wilson-Rizk, R.N. as their new Assistant Vice President of Nursing. Ms. Wilson-Rizk comes from North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset where she was Director of Emergency Patient Care Services.
 

Ms. Wilson-Rizk brings strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and organizational skills to this new role and innovative ideas that will improve patient and staff satisfaction.  In her past position, she made significant contributions in establishing service based guidelines to promote quality care, identify barriers to positive outcomes, and implemented patient care processes to improve patient flow throughout the hospital.


Graduating from St. Vincent's School of Nursing and passing her Boards for Registered Nurse, Ms. Wilson-Rizk continued her education and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Adelphi University and a Master of Arts in Healthcare Administration from Hofstra University.


She is a Member of Emergency Nurses Association and a Member of New York Organization of Nurse Executives. New Island welcomes Ms. Wilson-Rizk and looks forward to her vision and leadership in the many areas of service improvement that is a vital priority for the hospital.
