New Island Hospital Welcomes MIS/Chief Information Officer and Promotes an Assistant Director of Health Information Management
Mr. Larry Maggiotto, a Massapequa resident, joins New Island Hospital as Assistant Vice President, MIS/Chief Information Officer. In this role, Mr. Maggiotto will be responsible for the Hospital's information technology and communication systems. He brings extensive health care experience in local area hospitals, having previously served as the CIO at both Winthrop and Brookhaven Hospital.
Ms. Chris Cody, a Farmingdale resident, has been promoted to Assistant Director of Health Information Management. Previously, she served as interim Director of the Department. In her new role, Ms. Cody will monitor and supervise the management the Hospital's medical records.
